The Manchester City Football Club medical team get behind our call a friend campaign!

Tony Faulkner Managing Director at VSI Exec Education is taking on David Goggins running 4 miles every 4 hours over 48 hours.

All to raise awareness for our mental health and move people to check in on a friend and speak to someone when feeling a bit off.

The latest lock down has been tough enough but throw in the dark nights, bad weather which forces people to stay indoors. More people are becoming isolated and more disturbingly - it's becoming their 'normal'

We are by nature a sociable species and it still remains one of our basic human needs, of which we are being denied.

* We urge you to give someone a call today
* Stay active because this is known to release your endorphins, which ur bodies natural feel good hormones.
*Reach out and connect with someone when you're feelingly yourself.

Far too many people are suffering in silence and now is the time to put your ego aside and speak to someone.

4/4/48 - that’s a 4 mile run every 4 hrs for 48hrs

The former Navy Seal claims it is designed to “break the mind”

Throughout the 48hr event VSI will be joined by people from across all walks of life who will be sharing their experiences on aspects of mental fitness.

Tony will also be joined by (Guest runners) from sport who will discuss how to positively impact your mental fitness

It is so heart breaking to learn of another young

It is so heart breaking to learn of another young life take far too early at the age of 17, when he had so much in front of him.

He must have felt like there was no other choices for him to take his own life. My prayers are with his family and the people that knew him best at the club.

Denzel Washington famously quoted "If you had $86,400 in the bank and someone stole $10 from you, would you be upset and throw the remaining $86,390 away? No see, we have 86,400 seconds each day, so don't let a negative 10 minutes ruin your entire life"

What ever you are going through please remember that it is only temporary. It might seem as though it is the end of everything as you know it but it is everything in life, it is temporary.
